on not making jewelry

today was mostly spent on the patination of a sculpture and on figuring out web design and presence.  so, it was a day spent with actual jewelry making not happening and ideas growing in the back of my mind - all the projects i want to do: aluminum casting from foam with carolingian attributes, new leaf forms as fall is approaching and i love the leaves, a "CRUSH" rainbow.........................

Fun Fact about Aluminum cw

Hi,
Just read this and thought this is a fun fact! This is how much energy one 'CRUSH' will save!
Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to keep a 100-watt bulb burning for almost four hours or provide enough power to a television for three hours.

Alive! cw

Six months? I can't believe it has been that long! Ware Jewelry had a successful fall. We participated in the Recycle Santa Fe show in November which was a lot of fun. The holidays were busy as well and we are finally ready to face the new year. A bumpy start, but we're up and running.
Kathie Malcomb is Ware Jewelry's first official sales representative. If you live in the OC and would like to see my work, please contact her via the info on the web site!
There are lots of new shapes and designs so I will get out my camera and get new images up! Fun daisy chain earrings and a tetrahedron 'CRUSH'. That's a shape I had wanted to achieve for quite some time!

"CRUSH" on glass - cw

New photo with more to follow soon! New "CRUSHES" with texture and interesting remnants. Need to haul out the camera, glass, mini tent and my computer patience - then I will post them! Just had a fun little trunk show here in Santa Fe!
