CRUSHes as confetti

Confetti! The bright colors make me think of happy things: confetti, pinatas, candy!  It would be fun to have a show where the pieces are all displayed like candies or baked goods!  Lots of tiered glass or silver dishes..................dripping jewelry..........................................

'Roadkill Metal' bracelets

A slew of "Roadkill Metal" bracelets made from armature wire, aluminum blanks and aluminum pipe.  Adding bling to some of the bracelets and earrings now which is kind of fun.  Found some new bling colors today so will experiment some more soon.  Having fun squashing different things into the metal!

Coil "Roadkill Metal" Bracelet

Messing around more with the "Roadkill Metal" idea.  One coil, tribalish, Egyptianish bracelet!  Lots of textures mashed into the aluminum..............want to play around with patinas in addition to the black seen here!

basically boggled

well wow, all kinds of ideas for new jewelry designs, working on photos and studio organization, keeping track of listings on sites vs. pieces on the web, looking forward to playing with a 3D printer and a new and groovy eco resin out of California, taxes to do, more pieces with insets, want to go to the Black Hole again, crush cake improvement, lathe work, how to market, pay for a fancier web design or not, advertising or word-of-mouth, you need to be on Facebook-really?, and Twitter-what?  so many little pieces to building the work.  if there were three of me would i just triple the expectation?

spoon usa 2012 bronze

always liked how artifacts are labeled in museums....the use, where it was found/made, the guess at the year and the materials.......................artist most often unknown...........................................no 'titles'.

"Mace-In Decay" is a bronze sculpture from the "Artifact Series".  These works are all small in scale and are made from plastic detritus; toys, utensils, cocktail markers, etc.  This piece plays with the idea of weapons and soldiers where the soldiers become the spikes on the ball and chain.  This is a unique bronze. 'Curiosity' was a recent show at Winterowd Fine Art in Santa Fe.  To see more of this series visit cwarestudio.  The patina work on this was alot of fun; silver nitrate, ferric nitrate and titanium dioxide were used.
